Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between counseling and consulting?

Counseling is a structured therapeutic process, guided by clinical ethics, reflection, and psychological depth. It’s paced and intentional, focused on developing self-awareness, emotional insight, and lasting internal change. If you’re seeking support and a space to make meaningful personal insights, this is the route.

Consulting isn’t therapy, it’s realignment. There’s no diagnosis, no therapy contract, no hand-holding. You bring the problem, and we dismantle it together. Whether it’s interpersonal conflict, emotional volatility, performance breakdown, or loss of direction. The conversation is very direct, and built to create movement.

What kind of psychologist are you?

I'm an insight-based psychologist. I don’t believe in handing out advice but I’am direct. I believe through focused dialogue and the right kind of questions, most people already hold the answers they’re searching for, they just need the space and environment to access them.

My approach is rooted in Western psychological principles, but heavily influenced by Eastern perspectives on balance and self-observation. I help clients shift out of guilt, shame, and internal distortion, not by minimizing what’s happening, but by learning to see it from a more stable and truthful place.

Therapy with me is about clarity and alignment over comfort. I value directness, awareness and depth, but also know when to disrupt what no longer serves.

What can I expect in a session with you?

Expect a conversation between equals.

I’m not above you, and I’m not here to fix you. I ask real and sometimes difficult questions, but never from judgment.

With time, I want you to see me as a clear, steady presence. Someone you can speak freely with, without editing or performing.

If we’re doing it right, we’ll probably end up laughing. Not because things aren’t serious but because humor cuts through heaviness and breaks tension. Laughter isn’t the goal, but it’s a sign we’re headed in the right direction.
